How do I get permission to reprint something Jerry has written?

This should be fairly easy.

If you want to quote a few sentences or a paragraph or two, attributing them to me, great – go ahead and do that.  Feel free.  I’ll be happy and humbled (well, some anyway) and flattered.

But if you want to quote something at length or even the whole thing, you need written permission from the copyright holder (that’d be me).   Even if you’re not making money from it.

(It’s the law.  To say nothing of polite and nice, too.)

If you’d like to do that in a non-commercial venue, for the simple good of your readers, well, I’ll probably be happy to pitch in myself and we can almost certainly work it out for free, just as something I’d like to do along with you.

If you’d like to do it in a commercial venue, we’ll be able to work that out, too, for a standard publishing permission fee.  Either way, just get in touch with me, by clicking here.

Thank you.

In discussion. Bemused.
